Cremation Service was held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, at Meadville United Methodist Church. Revs. Ralph Clark and Roger Davis officiated. Organist Bethany Waiker played "One Day At A Time" and "Face to Face".
Lloyd married Doris Ammon July 3, 1955 who survives of the home. Their daughter, Deborah Kay (Tiemeyer)Kehr, son in law, John Kehr and grandson Scott Andrew Kehr.
Lloyd was the son of Carl Henry Tiemeyer and Clara Ireba (Singleton) Tiemeyer. Additional survivors include a brother, Marvin, sister in law, Lillian (Masterson) Tiemeyer, sister in law, Almira (Ammon) Stephens & her husband Robert E. Stephens; brother in law, Fred Ammon & his wife Bettie (Woolston) Ammon. Also nephews & neices. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.
Lloyd worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad, farmed and owned a used car dealer ship. He enjoyed his family & friends, hunting and fishing. Lloyd enjoyed life.
Doris H. Tiemeyer, 80, of Meadville, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her home.
Memorial services will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at the Meadville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Doug Kraus and Rev. Richard Cassady officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Meadville United Methodist Church or the Serve Link Hospice in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
Born October 22, 1935 in Mendon, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Alice Conger Ammon. On July 3, 1955 in Mendon, she married Carl Lloyd Tiemeyer, and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1994.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Kehr and her husband John of Meadville; a sister, Almira Stephens of Brookfield; a sister-in-law, Lillian Tiemeyer Kateman of Blackwater; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Kehr; and a brother, Fred Ammon.
Mrs. Tiemeyer was a member of the Meadville United Methodist Church and the Autumn Leaf Collectors Club. She was a 1954 graduate of Northwestern High School in Mendon. She helped to start the Rural Water District and worked as a bookkeeper for 42 years for the Linn-Livingston Rural Water District #3. She also assisted her husband in the operation of Tiemeyer Auto Sales. She had lived in the Meadville area since 1966, moving from Chillicothe.
