Obituary

Troyer Funeral Today. Galena, Kan., March 8--Mrs. Barbara Troyer, 81 years old, who died yesterday afternoon at her farm home, two miles east of Crestline, will be held at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Lutheran church, fifteen miles east of Joplin on Seventh street. The Rev. Dow Booe of Galena will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran church cemetery there. The body will lie in state at the Clark Undertaking Company's parlors here until the time of the funeral.

MRS BARBARA TROYER DIES AT FARM HOME, Crestlin, Kan., March 7--Mrs Barbara Troyer, 81 years old, died at 1 o'clock this afternoon at her farm home, two miles east of here. Mrs. Troyer was a member of the Evangelical church. She was born in Germany in 1852, and came to this country when 5 years old with her parents, who settled in Indiana. She lived fifteen years at Baxter Springs, prior to moving to her present home two years ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. R. Wells of Seattle, Wash; Mrs. Nels Koppang of Phelford, Alberta, Canada; Mrs. S. Garrison of Kansas City and Mrs. H.L. McFall of Beggs, Okla., and five sons, S.S. Troyer of Oronogo, G.G. Troyer of Beggs, E.E. Troyer of Avant, Okla., and J.B. Troyer and W.B. Troyer, at home. The body was taken to the Roney Undertaking Company of Carl Junction. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
