Lloyd Dummit Dies Yesterday

Lloyd Conway Dummit, 77, of Aurora died at 8:15 a.m. Monday at the Aurora Community Hospital after a long illness.

A retired hotel manager, he moved to Aurora from Monett in 1945.

Survivors include his wife, Dolly; three sons, Harold Dummit of Aurora, Marion Dummit of Bunkie, La., and Lloyd Arthur Dummit of Joliet, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Fields of Willard and Mrs. Wilma Grider of Oroville, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Reddington and Mrs. Myrtle Carter, both of Tulsa, Mrs. Norma Reaves of Independence, Mo., and Mrs. Noma Allsup of Schell City; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Peterson Chapel in Aurora with W. Earl Mansur officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Park Cemetery.

Aurora - Lloyd Conway Dummit, 77, Aurora, died at 8:15 a.m. Monday in Aurora Community Hospital after a long illness.

DOLLY DUMMIT

Dolly Dummit, 80, of Aurora, died at 1:30 a.m. yesterday at the Aurora community Hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Dummit was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Harold Dummit of Aurora, and Charles Dummit of Nebraska City, Nebraska; two daughters, Joyce Fields of Willard, and Wilma Grider of Oroville, California; a sister, Lavenia Martin of Waco, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Peterson Funeral Home of Aurora, with Rev. Eddie Bowman officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Park Cemetery at Aurora.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:00 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
