Hollie Averson Farris (1904 - 1997)
Mary Tamer Farris, 93, died June 16, 1998. Born September 29, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Sena Copeland Arnold.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Steele, and Past Noble Grand Rebekah Lodge. She was a retired cook.
Survivors include: two daughers, Evelyn Wallace of Bothell, Wash. and Robbie Sue Glover of Steele; one granddaughter, Peggy Shannon-Brown of Bothell, Wa.; one grandson, Bill Brown of Oak Harbor, Wash.; one granddaughter, Patricia Aydelotte of Cornet Bay, Wash.; one grandson, David Tennyson of Gosnell, Ark.; one granddaughter, Karen Tennyson of Steele; ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Services were held June 19, 1998, at 11:30 a.m., at the Bradshaw Funeral Home, with Rev. Dwight Chapman officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
