Jerry (Lindy) Taylor, 66, of Bartlett, Tenn., formerly of Steele, Mo., died of natural causes Thursday, September 22, 1994 at Baptist East Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
Born Sunday, January 8, 1928, at Lexington, Tenn., Mr. Taylor was a son of the late A.G. and Rhoda Bradfield Taylor.
He also was preceded in death by two sisters: Lena Dodd and Myrtle Pritchard; and two brothers: Alf Taylor and Bob Taylor.
Affiliated with the Church of Christ, he was a volunteer of Peoria Christian Center Little League for 11 years, and had been maintenance supervisor of Canteen Corp.
Mr. Taylor leaves his wife, Mrs. Louise Taylor, of Bartlett; A son, Michael Taylor, of Norcross, Ga.; Two daughters; Judy Miller of Memphis and Debra Taylor of Bartlett; Two brothers: Morgan Taylor of Yellow Springs, Ohio and Ted Taylor of Steele; A sister, Carra Waugh, of Heth, Ark.; and Five grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Taylor were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 1994, at Bradshaw's German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Mr. Barry Sellers officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Steele with Bradshaw's German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Louis DePriest, Randall DePriest, Chris Miller, John Miller, Delbert DePriest, Bruno Montgomery, Ray Cook, and Bill Cathey.
