J.P. Taylor, 79 of Fort McCoy, Fla., died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the Veteran's Hospital in Gainesville, Fla.
He was a U.S.Navy veteran, having served in WWII, a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort McCoy.
He is married Martha Taylor, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Brenda Bradford of Gosnell, Ark., four sons, Chris Taylor, of St. Marys, Ga., Danny Taylor, of Steele, Mo., David Taylor, of Gosnell, Ark., and Michael Taylor, of Crestview, Fla.; one sister, Lotric Norman, of Caruthersville, Mo., one brother, Glenwood Taylor, of Holland, Mo.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 8, at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo. with the Rev. John Earl Dunavant officiating.
