The Steele Enterprise, Steele, Missouri

Services were held Thursday, April 5, 1951 at the Steele Methodist Church for Henry Strothers Taylor of Steele. Rev. Marvin Niblack officiated at the services.
Mr. Taylor died at his home in Steele Wednesday. He had been in ill health for some time. He came to the Steele community 26 years ago, and was one of the early settlers of the town of Steele. For a number of years he was active in the cotton business and formerly owned a cotton gin here.
Mr. Taylor was born in McCrory, Arkansas on February 9, 1885 and died in Steele on April 4, 1951, at the age of 66 years.
Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Annie Taylor of Steele; three daughters: Mrs. Marie Cole of Memphis, Mrs. Jackie Hahs of Steele, and Mrs. Helen Farmer of Portageville; one step-son, Thomas Laden of Steele; one brother, Allen G. Taylor, of Leachville, Arkansas; and four grandchildren.
