Robert Henry Vied was born February 27, 1907, at Braggadocio, Mo., and died February 28, 1980 at Mt. Vernon, Mo., at the age of 73 years and one day.
Services were held March 1 at German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele at 2:00 p.m. Rev. James F. McCrary conducted the service.
Mrs. Bethel Lester was organist.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
German-Aumon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Vied leaves two daughters, Betty Kline of Phoenix and Mary Eggleston of Michigan; a son, Billy Gene Vied of DuPont, Wash., and two sisters: Mrs. Jessie Cole of Kennett and Mrs. Gertha Hudson of Steele. He also leaves a half-brother, Raymond Vied of White City, Oregon.
Pall bearers were Jessie Edwards, Larry Gestring, Howard Burns, J.W. Talley, Jr., J.W. Rinehart and Larry Franklin.
