Services were held Tuesday, October 1, for Raymond Carol Vied, who died September 28, 1985. Mr. Vied was the son of the late William Edward and Retta Hamilton Vied. He was born April 17, 1918 in Pemiscot County and died at Vancouver, Wash., at the age of 67. He was a veteran.
Services were from German-Aumon Funeral home Chapel, Rev. Billy Skinner officiating.
He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Gurtha Hudson of Steele, and Mrs. Jessi Cole of Kennett.
Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Pallbearers were Hans Green, Joe Samford, Herbert Ketchum, Howard Burns, Burnis Stanfield and Joe King.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, with arrangements by German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele.
