William Albert Vied, age 65, died on April 1, 1961 at the State Hospital at Mount Vernon, Mo. Mr. Vied had been a patient there for several weeks. He had lived in Steele many years before his death.
Rev. James F. McCrary conducted funeral services at the Baptist Church in Steele Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery with John W. German Mount Zion Chapel in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Sam Ellis, Troy Googe, Robert Holly, Robert Nicholas, Lawrence Holbert, and Clarence Poteet.
