Riley William Miller, the son of the late John R. and Nellie Seabolt Miller was born December 17, 1912 at Bath Springs, Tenn., and died at Caruthersville, Mo., June 5, 1985 at the age of 72.
He was a charter member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Service was from German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, June 8, 1985 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Frank Payne officiating.
He leaves two sons: Larry Miller of Osceola, Ark., and Ray Miller of Tyronza, Ark.; two daughters: Rena Mae Ballard of Lepanto, Ark., and Patsy Ashley of Lake Village, Ark.; four brothers: Clifford Miller of Steele, J.W. Miller of Cahokia, Ill., John Henry Miller of St. Louis, Mo., and Albert Miller of Steele; one sister: Irene Whatley of Northport, Ala.; two sisters-in-laws: Ruby Miller of Steele and Callie Miller of Cahokia, Ill.; 2l grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One daughter and two brothers preceded him in death.
Pallbearers were John Hurley, Wendell Hoskins, Don Poindexter, Milford Richardson, Alvin Skinner and J.W. Cunningham.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery, Steele with German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
