Funeral services for Charles E. "Shorty" Miller, 78, were held October 2, at German Funeral Home Chapel. Services were conducted by Rev. Joe Smith of Cooter.
Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Miller was born September 26, 1890 and died September 30, 1968.
He leaves his wife, Mary Gorman Miller, Steele, and one son, Henry Miller.
Pallbearers were Luke Howell, Virgil Jones, Homer Wilson, Ray Pugh, Leland Hodge, Jerry Waller and Louie Strong.
