Leslie L. "Lonnie" Wake age 73, son of Manuel T. and Rosie A. Collins Wake was born in Willow Springs, Missouri on October 2, l941 and passed away at his home in Cabool on Sunday, May 24, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; sister, Julie Moore & husband, Herman and brothers, Doyle and Dale Wake. Lonnie is survived by three brothers, Ernest & Mabel Wake, Leroy & Joan Wake and Jim & Jeanne Wake, all of Cabool; sisters-in-law, Linda Wake of Willow Springs and Kathy Wake of Springfield and his very special friend, Connie. Also, daughter, Tammy Frazier; grandsons, Adam and Jeremy Collins and great grandchildren, Travis and Cheyenne Collins, Leslie Drew Wake and Jasper David Collins. He is also survived by two step-daughters, Shirley Collins and Kathy Murphy and grandchildren Sheila Collins and Pam Cook, Rodney Murphy, Theresa Love, Christi Murphy, Ashley Maggard and great grandchildren, Sandy Chick, Nikki Gay, John Collins, DeWayne Cook, Heather Hafner, Shelby, Emma, Anna & Katie Murphy, Chris Roberts, Austin, Alex & Patricia Valarde, Brandon & Bradley Murphy, Billy Hayes, Thomas Fields, Ricky, Jacob, Lilian, & Abigail Murphy.
Graveside services were held at Willow Springs Cemetery on Monday June 1 with Lloyd Collins officiating. [egcfuneralhome.com]

Dorothy Marie Jane Wake, 78, daughter of the late Girley Stubbs of Willow Springs, Missouri, was born March 28, 1931. Dorothy passed from this life into eternal life on November 1, 2009.
Dorothy, a lifelong resident of Willow Springs, was loved by all who met and knew her. She was known for her unconditional love, compassion and loving kindness to all.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother and friend, Girley Stubbs; her sisters, Helen White, Linda Jackson and Barbara Jean Stubbs; her brother, Floyd Stubbs; and her maternal grandparents, Hattie and Saul Stubbs.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie "Lonnie" Wake of Willow Springs; her daughters, Shirley Collins and husband Lloyd, Kathy Murphy, and Tammy Frasier and husband Jaimie; her grandchildren, Adam Collins, Jeremy Collins, Christie Fields, Michele Love, Rodney Murphy, Ashley Maggard, Sheila Collins and Pamela Cook; her great-grandchildren, Heather Hafner, Dewayne Cook, Sandra Chick, Nicole Myers, John Collins, Brandon Murphy, Bradley Murphy, Billy Jack Hayes, Thomas Fields, Chris Roberts, Austin Velarde, Alex Velarde, Patricia Velarde, Shelby Murphy, Emma Murphy, Anna Murphy, Katie Murphy, Ricky Maggard and Jacob Maggard; her great-great-grandchildren, Drew Collins, Travis and Cheyenne Collins, Brayton Murphy, Aiden Ray Hayes, Ryan, Justin, and Emily Chick, Jonathan, Tyler and Zoe Myers, and Taylor Hafner. She will also be missed by her friends far and near.
Dorothy loved music, both country and gospel. She sang "Amazing Grace" the day before God called her home. She loved God, her family, and life.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Bethel Community Church with Lloyd Collins officiating. Pallbearers were Rodney Murphy, Bradley Murphy, Brandon Murphy, Adam Collins, Jeremy Collins and Dewayne Cook. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Roberts and Jamie Frasier. Interment was in Willow Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool, Missouri.
