Funeral services for Dale Brewer, 76, West Plains, Mo., will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Brewer died 11:04 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2008, in Ozarks Medical Center. He was born Jan. 15, 1932, in Chanute, Kan., to Fred and Dora Endicott Brewer. On Dec. 16, 1972, he was married at Eudora, Kan., to Linda Lane Durham. Mr. Brewer was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He had been employed as a plant director of the Leavenworth, Kan., school system and was executive secretary and treasurer of all Kansas school facilities for many years. Mr. Brewer was a member of the Central Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Linda Brewer, of the family home; three children, Katherine Morrow and husband, Steve, of Landrum, S.C., Tracy Martin and husband, Emmett, of Leavenworth, Kan., and Scott Brewer, Kansas City, Mo.; one step-son, Danny Lane and wife, Linda, Desoto, Kan.; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three step great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary Brewer of Virgil, Kan.; two sisters, Doris Pruitt of Chanute, Kan., and Elsie Mozingo and husband, Roy, of Gridley, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews. His parents, two brothers and three sisters precede him in death. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Paragould Children's Home and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.


Funeral services for Linda Lois Brewer, 81, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2012, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brewer died at 7:05 a.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at West Vue Nursing Center.
She was born November 18, 1930, at Ott, Arkansas, to Tommy and Edith Tackett Durham. She graduated from Bakersfield High School with the Class of 1948. On January 29, 1949, she was married to Mike Lane, and to this union a son was born. On December 16, 1972, she was married at Eudora, Kansas, to Dale Brewer, who preceded her in death on May 2, 2008. Linda was a member of Central Church of Christ. She retired as Section Manager at Hallmark Cards after thirty years. Linda spent most of her retirement years singing at the high rises, nursing homes and oil painting, traveling and playing golf.
She is survived by one son, Danny Lane, wife, Linda, DeSoto, Kansas; three grandchildren, Kirk Lane, wife, Kerry, Bryan Lane and Nickie Fulk, husband, Chad; four great-grandchildren; three step-children, Kathy Morrow, husband, Steve, South Carolina, Scott Brewer, Kansas City, Missouri and Tracy Martin, husband, Emmit, Leavenworth, Kansas; two step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one brother, JT Durham, wife, Faye, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Dorothy Coldiron, husband, Paul, West Plains, Missouri; five half-brothers and one half-sister in the Durham family, Alva, John E., Thomas, Jimmy, Tilman and Margie Horton.
Her parents, husband, two sisters and two half-brothers, precede her in death.
The family will receive their friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Paragould Children's Home, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. On line condolences may be expressed at robertsondrago.com.
