Norman Kyle Brewer was born July 4, 1927, in Cabool, Missouri to George Norman and Anna Jean (Barton) Brewer. He died Saturday, July 2, 2016, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years. Norman completed his secondary education in Cabool, Missouri and graduated with the Cabool High School Class of 1945. He then entered the armed forces and served his country honorably with the United States Navy. After his discharge he continued his education earning his Mechanics Degree from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Norman married Betty June Thomas on September 25, 1949 in St. Louis Missouri after stealing her heart taking her flying in his plane on their first date. He spent most of his working life in Quality Control for American Airlines. In his spare time Norman enjoyed flying, playing baseball, golfing, birdwatching, and flying Skyblazer remote control Airplanes. Loving family members include:
Wife; Betty Brewer, of Owasso
Son; Jeff Brewer and wife LaDonna, of Tulsa
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Larry Brewer.
Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 2016, the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Ben Killion officiating. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. www.moweryfs.com
