Graveside services for Everett Morris Brewer, 78, Nixa, Missouri, formerly of West Plains, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Brewer passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Seymour, Missouri.
He was born April 14, 1945, at Gainesville, Missouri to Mildred and Henry Brewer; he was the youngest son of eight children. Everett graduated from West Plains High School in 1963. He was in the Missouri National Guard, ranked sharp shooter as Military Police in the 1960's. On September 2, 1966, he was married at West Plains, to Linda Lee Ford. Everett was a store manager in the Wal-Mart company since 1977, Houston, Missouri. Everett was proud to say he worked his way up in the company from stock boy in 1969. He managed the West Plains location from 1980 – 1993 upon his retirement. He was active in local civic clubs including United Way, Lion's Club, West Plains R-7 School Board Member and Chamber of Commerce (President 1984). Everett and Linda raised three successful children, Michelle, Jason and Nathan. Everett had a passion for hot rods that was cultivated by his older brothers. He started Corvettes Unlimited as a hobby in 1988. He and Linda enjoyed building and designing houses throughout their 57 year marriage. Everett transitioned into retirement combining his success in business with his passion for classic cars. In 1993 he moved his family to the Springfield area and launched his full time dealership with his wife and sons. Everett had two grandchildren, Logan and Megan. He enjoyed sharing his love of cars with them both.
His parents, wife (just two months ago), two brothers, Ed and Earl Brewer and one sister, Evelyn Correll, preceded him in death.

Graveside services for Linda Lee Brewer, 76, Ozark, Missouri, formerly of West Plains, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brewer passed away at 4:30 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2023, at her home.
She was born October 23, 1947, at West Plains, Missouri, to Roy Ford and Aleeta Guffey Ford. Linda was the youngest of three children. She graduated from West Plains High School in 1965. She worked in the Superintendent's office at the school as well as the International Shoe Factory and Howell-Oregon Electric. On September 2, 1966, she was married at West Plains, to Everett Brewer; she knew him since grade school, as her brother and Everett were friends. Linda enjoyed being home, raising her kids. She and Everett spent many hours over the years designing and building houses. Linda's passion for furniture and design began early, as she grew up in her parent's furniture store. She was always interested in interior design and had an eye for it. Linda graduated from Sheffield School of Design, where she enjoyed learning about the history of furniture. In 1988, Linda and Everett started their car business, Corvettes Unlimited. When Everett retired from Wal-Mart in 1993, they moved to Ozark, Missouri.
Her parents and her brother, Hanley Ford, preceded her in death.
