Waneta Olidene Harris, 80, of West Plains, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, at her home. She was born May 11, 1924 in West Plains, to Benjamin Mitchell and Artie Ernestine Mustion Thompson.
She married Calvin Harris Feb. 11, 1943 at Fulton Co., AR.
Mrs. Harris was a member of Smith Chapel Congregational Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin Harris of the family home; her step-grandmother, Freda Mustion of West Plains; one brother-in-law, Jack Harris of Des Moines, IA; two sisters-in-law, Nadine Armstrong and Louise Harris, both of West Plains; and several cousins and aunts.
Her parents and one infant daughter preceded her in death.
Mrs. Harris will lie in state Saturday and until service time Sunday, at Robertson-Drag- Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 at Howell Memorial Park, Pomona, under direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. [West Plains Daily Quill, Dec 30, 2004]
