Mr. John D. Crocker, 63, of Steele, Mo., died Friday, December 29, 1995 at River Oaks Care Center in Steele.
Born Thursday, January 21, 1932 in Mississippi, he was a son of the late Victor Crocker and Mae Prestage Crocker.
He was of the Pentecostal Faith and a retired farm hand.
Mr. Crocker leaves two sons, Lewis C. Crocker of Caruthersville, Mo. and Eugene Crocker of Caruthersville; a daughter, Mary K. Crocker of Caruthersville five brothers: Victor W. Crocker of Mulberry, Fla., Danny J. Crocker of Wahneta, Fla., Terry L. Crocker and Paul D Crocker, both of Steele and Mark A. Crocker, of Holland, Mo.; six sisters: Opal McLemore of Pascola, Mo., Geraldine Glidewell, Eveda Wright, and Judith Grant, all of Steele; Charlett Daniels of Blytheville, Ark., and Debbie Chandler of Holland; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Crocker were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 1995, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Steele with Rev. Charles Faught officiating.
Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Terry Curry, Eugene Crocker, Ray McLemore, Wendy Scott, Gardner Norrid, and Bill McDaniel.
