Otis C. Powell, 85, of Steele, Mo., died Monday, August 18, 2003, at his home.
Born Monday, March 11, 1918, in Supply, Ark., he was the son of the late James Powell and Mary Hillard Powell. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Merrill and Paula.
He served his country in the United States Army during World War II, was a retired farmer and of the Assembly of God faith.
Mr. Powell leaves thirteen sons, three daughters, two brothers, five sisters and fifteen grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Powell were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele with Rev. Gerald Moss officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Frank Powell, Harold Powell, Homer Powell, Jackie Powell, Donnie Powell, and Roger Powell.
