Funeral services for Danny Ross Smith, 64, West Plains, will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2010 in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Smith died 12:41 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2010 near West Plains. He was born January 15, 1946 in Ozark County, Missouri to Raymond and Ina Faye Womack Smith. On May 25, 1973, he was married at West Plains, Missouri to Faye Evylon Bell. Mr. Smith was a logger and worked for the Smith Brothers Sawmill.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Smith, of the family home; three daughters, Vicki Smith, Lisa Herring, husband, David and Denice Warden, husband, Rollin "Pug", all of West Plains; five grandchildren, Briona Warden, Bethany Warden, Laykin Herring, Logan Herring and Lawson Herring; five brothers, Paul Smith, wife, Sarah, Ronald Smith, wife, Sue, Bill Smith, wife, Sherry, Roger Smith and Stella and Tommy Smith, wife, Crystal; three sisters, Larae Green, Janis Adams, husband, Roger and Judy Davis, husband, Jim Ed; mother-in-law, Ruby Bell; sisters-in-law, Judy Ford, husband, Robert and Rhonda Bell; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, one brother, Homer Lee Smith, father-in-law, Roy Bell, two brothers-in-law, George Green and Roy L. Bell, two nieces and one nephew precede him in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
