Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Barbara Joe Ballentine, little eight months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hervey Ballentine, at their home in this city, conducted by Rev. M. A. Massey. With the German Undertaking Co. in charge, burial was made in the Holly Cemetery.
The child although she had not been well for several days, was not thought to be serious, until Tuesday morning, when she became much worse, and died in a short time.
Barbara Joe is survived by her parents and several brothers and sistes.
