Services for Jesse Young, 67, who died May 4th at the hospital in Blytheville Ark., were held May 6th at the German-Aumon Funeral Hme Chapel in Steele with Mr. Walter Lumpkin officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 3rd, 1910 in Steele. He was a retired farmer and lived in Steele before moving to Leachville, Ark.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Mae Young; two sons, Joe Young of Hughes, Ark. and Jerry Young of Bakersvield, Calif.; two daughters, Janelle Boykin of Delta City, Miss., and Janet Wanker of Jackson, Miss.; seven sisters, Lucille Smith of Steele, Maxine Young of Caruthersville, Delola Morton of Kennett, Grace Watkins of Nevada, Mo., Erma Gay Zbyczik and Wilma Young, both of Steele, and Keifer Reiber of Boston, Mass.; three brothers Lynn Young of Fresno, Calif., Eugene Young of Steele, and Pete Young of Bunke, La.; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Joe Joung II, Paul Young, Bobby Trimue, LeRoy Morton and Lloyd Martin.

Lola Mae Young, the daughter of the late Jonathan and America Rose Pounds Motley, was born September 15, 1910, at Marietta, Miss., and died October 2, 1986, at Jackson, Miss. She was 76.
February 20, 1931, she was married to Jess L. Young at Blytheville, Ark., who preceded her in death on May 4, 1977. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She leaves two sons: Jerry L. Young of Bakersfield, Cal., and Joe G. Young of Forrest City, Ark.; one daughter: Janelle Williams of Yazoo City, Miss.; Eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Janet Wanker, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were Joe Young II, Jay Boykin, Patrick Wanker, Paul Young, Tim Wanker and Mike Young.
Services were from German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, October 5, 1986, at 2 p.m. Mr. Worley Ferguson officiated.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Steele, with arrangements by German-Aumon Funeral Home.
