Had Been a Distributor for Daily Express Several Years

Jesse Osceola Truitt, who spent most of his life farming and teaching school in Adair county, but for the last few years has been a distributor for The Daily Express & News in the northwest part of Kirksville, died this morning of heart leakage and dropsy, at the age of 65 years. He leaves two sons, Herbert and Jesse, Jr., who made their home with their father; two sons, Harrison, of Novinger, and Virgil, of Trinidad, Col.; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Cook, of El Paso, Tex., and Jennie Truitt, also of El Paso.

Funeral services will be held at the Lutz cemetery tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment will be there.

Mr. Truitt had a wide acquaintance in Kirksville and many friends will extend their sympathy to the sons and daughters.
