Funeral services for Charles Arthur Adams, 75, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2012 in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Adams died 7:35 a.m., Friday, October 19, 2012 in the Ozarks Medical Center. He was born February 10, 1937 in Phelps County, Missouri to Anderson and Emma Della Bailey Adams. Before his retirement, Mr. Adams had been employed in the Sanitation Department for the City of Rolla, Missouri and, also, worked for the grape vendors in the St. James area. He was a member of the Central Calvary Baptist Church of West Plains.
He is survived by his special friends, Bertie and Sharon Pankey, West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His parents, three brothers, Robert Adams, Herb Adams and Hubert Squires and three sisters, Pearl Walls, Lenora Barnes and Christinia Faye Finley, preceded him in death.
Mr. Adams will lie in state from 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21st until service time at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. On line condolences may be expressed at robertsondrago.com.
