Funeral services for Frances Alice Adams, 100, West Plains, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams died 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, in West Vue Nursing Center. She was born April 2, 1908, in Topeka, Kan., to Mrs. and Mrs. Clemence Snodgrass. On Sept. 28, 1926, she was married at Tulsa, Okla., to Homer W. Adams who preceded her in death on June 25, 1989. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Mizpah Rebekah Lodge Number 77 and the Grandmother's Club. She was of the Baptist faith with her membership in the First Baptist Church for more than 60 years. She is survived by three children, Mary Jane Langston, husband, Arthur, of Seal Beach, Calif., Homer Adams of West Plains, and Wilma Dannhaus of Freeport, Texas; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, two sisters and two brothers precede her in death. Burial was at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. [robertsondrago.com]
