Services for Billy Thomas Perry were held Jan. 4 at 2 p.m. in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel with Danny O'Quinn of Hayti and Joe Smith of Cooter officiating.
Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Perry died Jan. 1, 1983 at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 52.
He was born Dec. 8, 1930 in Cooter.
He was employed by Process Operator of Houston, Tex., as construction manager. He was a member of Humble Masonic Lodge in Humble, Tex., a member of the Houston Concistory of Scottish Rights and a 32nd degree Mason. He was also retired from the military service.
Mr. Perry is survived by two sons, Thomas of Muscle Shoals, Ala., and Shelly K. of San Francisco, Calif.; two daughters, Cathy Collins of Goutier, Miss., and Christy Perry of Hayti; two stepsons, Rex Brumley of Humble, Tex., and Robbie Brumley of DeRidder, La.; his mother, Opal Cunningham of Hayti; his father, Raymond Perry of St. Louis; and three grandchildren.
