Funeral services for Thomas B. Perry, 84, of Cooter, were held Tuesday, October 10, 1967 at the Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter. Rev. Joe Smith officiated.
Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Perry was born in Maury City, Tenn., August 25, 1883 and died at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti October 9, 1967. He had lived in this community for 80 years. He was a retired farmer.
Pallbearers were Gus Cooper, J.W. Neil, Henry Evans, Joe Burton, Virgil Jones, and Tom Hopper.
He leaves his wife, Lula Mary Perry, Cooter; two sons: Raymond Perry, St. Louis, and Elbert Melvin Perry, Cooter; three sisters, May Christopher, Walnut Ridge, Ark., Angia Wiseman, Paragould; and Millard Sharron, Osceola; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 1, 1971, in the Chapel of the Original German Funeral Home for Mrs. Mary Lula Perry. Mrs. Perry died August 30, 1971, at the age of 86 years. Services were conducted by the Rev. Joe Smith.
Mrs. Perry leaves two sons, Elbert M. Perry of Cooter and Raymond E. Perry of St. Louis, and one half sister, Mrs. Eva Clinton of Osceola, Ark.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with the Original German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
