Funeral service for Marvin Bruce Hatley, 55, 401 Liberty Street, Steele, was held at the Chapel of the German Funeral Home April 29, 1971.
Mr. Hatley died April 27 at the University Medical Center in Columbia, Mo. He was born September 23, 1915 in Tennessee.
The Rev. James F. McCrary conducted the service. Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery, the original German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Mr. Hatley was the son of Amos and Era Haynes Hatley.
He leaves his mother, Mrs. Era Hatley of Steele; three brothers, Leslie and Jack Gordon of Steele and Garvin of Blytheville. He also leaves a sister, Lucille McCord, of Holland.
Pallbearers wre Bud Davis, Jack Crump, Clifford Blagg, Bob Taylor, Ernest Helms, Hubert Archer and L.A. Crews.
