Camille Hatley, 69, of Steele, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008 in Hayti.
Born Feb. 26, 1939 in Cooter, she is the daughter of the late Herman Lovins and Polly Best Lovins.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Frankie Spencer and one brother, James Lovins.
Camille was united in marriage to Edmond Hatley on June 30, 1968, in Blytheville, Ark.
She was the owner and operator of Camille's Beauty Shop in Steele before ill health. She had worked as a hairdresser for many years in Blytheville at Barbara's Beauty shop.
She was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Steele. She was very active over the years with the church and the youth. She worked with the C.D.H.S. Food Pantry and in the past had been a very active member of the Steele Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs. Hatley leaves her husband, Edmond Hatley, of the home;
One daughter, Teresa Cecil and her husband Bill, of Leachville, Ark.;
One grandson, Tanner Cecil, of Leachville;
Two brothers: Alfred Lovins and his wife Patty of Bellville, Ill., and Jimmy Harold Lovins of Parsons, Tenn.; and
One sister, Peggy Kelley and her husband Dub, of Wentsville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hatley were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 22, 2008 at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Zych officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Powell Funeral Home of Steele in charge of services.
Pallbearers were John Spence, Matthew Spence, Gary Ward, Keith Flowers, Scott Spence, Jonathan Spence and Steven Neil.
