Mrs. Marie L. Hatley, 82, of Braggadocio, Mo., died Sunday, August 5, 1990, in Midwest City, Okla.
Daughter of the late Judson and Lissie Horton Lee, she was born July 30, 1908 in Peoria, Ill.

Mrs. Hatley was a member of the Boon Chapel Church of Christ near Steele, Mo., and was a homemaker.

United in marriage to Martin L. Hatley April 20, 1924 at Blytheville, Ark., she was preceded in death by her husband on April 13, 1975. A daughter, Ella Murphy, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Hatley leaves a son, Herman Hatley of Steele; two sisters: Mrs. Bertha Park of Blytheville and Mrs. Betty Bowers of Pekin, Ill.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 9, 1990, at 2;00 p.m. in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Brother Bill Lovelace of Blytheville officiating.

Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Joe Berry, Bill Goetz, Bobby Goetz, Terry Wyatt, J. Cumby, and Jerry Hatley.

Martin Luther Hatley of Braggadocio died April 13, 1975, at the Pemiscot County Medical Center at Hayti. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Boon Chapel Church of Christ near Steele.
The son of the late John and Virginia Hatley, he was married to Marie Lee at Blytheville, April 20, 1924 and was the father of two children.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 16, 1975, at 2:00 p.m. in the Boon Chapel Church of Christ with Mr. Bill Lovelace of Pocahontas, Ark., officiating.
Mr. Hatley leaves his widow, Marie Hatley, Braggadocio; one son, Herman Hatley, Steele; one daughter, Ella Murphy, Houston, Tx., one brother, E.J. Hatley, Hayti; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of services.
Pallbearers were Jerry Hatley, Jackie Hatley, Jack Akins, Dugan Pritchard, Howard Robinson and Ronnie Horton.
