RALPH RUFUS Fields

Ralph was born May 12, 1924 in Coffeeville, Kan. to Abraham and Delpha Fields. He lived the biggest part of his life in the Springfield area. He married Lois Iva Stowe in 1943. He was wounded in World War II in the Pacific. He was a lifetime member of DAV and the VFW. Saved in High Street Baptist Church in 1951, he was an attending member of National Heights Baptist Church. He retired from Reyco after 35 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lois Iva, a daughter, Lois Jane and husband David Hazen; two sons, Ralph Jerry Fields and wife Deidra, and Ro ger Leroy Fields and wife Pamela; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews .

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct 19, 1999 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Pastor Vaugh Weatherford presiding. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
