KANSAS CITY --- Services for Julia E. Fields, 79, Kansas City, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Ralph Thieme Chapel, Springfield, with the Revs. Paul Keehr and Bill Keithley officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
Mrs. Fields died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in her home after a long illness.
A Baptist, she had lived in the Springfield area until 30 years ago when she moved to Kansas City.
Survivors include three sons, Willie L., Buffalo, Ira L. and George E., both of Springfield; three daughters, Mrs. Nanabell Carter, Kanaas City, and Mrs. Ellen Burgess and Mrs. Rosemary Stubblefield, both of Springfield; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
