Catherine Lorene Dean, 76, Hurley, died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2006, in her home, with family by her side. She was born December 22, 1929, in Stone County, Mo., the daughter of Coy Woodford and Rhoda Alice (Saltkill) Brown. She was united in marriage to Freddie Dean May 28, 1949. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Freddie, of the home two sons, Michael Dean, Hurley, and Jimmie Dean, Marionville three grandchildren five brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2006, in Short Cemetery, Hurley, with Rev. Harold Brown officiating, under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Clever. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
