Mrs. Kaye Tipton passed away on July 30, 2023, at 3:54 A.M. in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO, surrounded by her family. She was born November 4, 1939, in Willow Springs, MO, the daughter of Sidney Earl (Ernie) Robertson and Cleo (Smith) Robertson.
She became a Christian at the age of nine years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for many years. She was united in marriage to Robert D. Tipton on August 4, 1956, and to this union, two sons were born, R. Kent Tipton and Jamie D. Tipton. In 1957, she began employment with the Willow Springs News. In 1967, she began her career with the U.S. Forest Service as a clerk/typist and retired in 1995 as a business management assistant. After retiring from the U.S. Forest Service, she worked part-time for the Missouri State Highway Patrol until 2000. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Cleo; her sister, Dorothy Richards and husband, Howard of Willow Springs, MO; sister, Zoe Ann Hauth and husband, Leland of Phoenix, AZ; and her daughter in law, Vickie Tipton.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; her son, Kent and bonus daughter, Kim Lee Frazier; her son, Jamie and wife, Pamala, all of Willow Springs, MO; her brother, Earl Robertson and wife, Wanda of West Plains, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Private family services for Zelma "Kaye" Tipton were held at Trinity Baptist Church, Wednesday, August 2, 2023, with Pastor David Cox and Pastor Scott Williamson officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC.

Robert Donald Tipton passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 9:05 a.m. at his home in Willow Springs, Mo. He was born February 13, 1937, in Willow Springs. He was the son of Robert Lloyd Tipton and Geneva May (Stringer) Tipton. He was 87.
He became a Christian at a very young age and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for many years. He was united in marriage to Zelma "Kaye" Robertson on August 4, 1956, and to this union, two sons were born, R. Kent Tipton and James D. Tipton. He started his career at the age of 19 working for the Missouri Department of Transportation from which he retired. "Tip" loved hunting and fishing with his two sons, and later in life, he started playing golf with his beautiful wife, Kaye and his son, Jamie. Robert and Kaye loved to go to Branson to enjoy all the singing stars. Tip will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kaye, of 66 years; his parents; one sister, Norma; and his daughter-in-law, Vickie Tipton.
He is survived by his two sons, Kent and his partner, Kim, and Jamie and wife, Pam; sister-in-law, Wanda; many nieces and nephews; and Robert and Kaye's very special caregiver, Kathleen Alsup, all of Willow Springs.
