Lucille Bishop, 81, of Kent, Washington, died Sunday, November 29, 1998 at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Wash.

Born July 12, 1917 at Wildersville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Lute and Addie Cole Williams. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Verner Williams, and a sister, Jonnie Wingfield.

Lucille was united in marriage to Joe Bishop on August 16, 1938 in Steele, Mo. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1995.

A Methodist, she was employed as a sales person for a retail department store.

Mrs. Bishop leaves two daughters and sons-in-law: Linda and Bernie Ballard of Kodak, Tenn., and Kay and Rod Oldenberg of Kent;
One grandson, Master Sgt. Joseph Ballard, of Mendenhall, England;
Two granddaughters: Rose Mari Ballard, of Kodak and Samantha Oldenberg of Kent; and
Three sisters: Mrs. Viola George of Oroville, Calif., Mrs. Susie Clark of Steele, and Mrs. Maxine Moore of Memphis, Tenn.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bishop were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 1998 at the John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.

Pallbearers were James Cuningham, Sherman Ingle, Jack Henson, Wilburn Clark, Paul German, and Danny Wingfield.
