Funeral services for Riley "Curly" Cox, 85, Pomona, Mo., were Friday, April 30, 2010, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Cox died at 9:42 a.m., Monday, April 26, 2010, at his home. He was born Aug. 31, 1924, at Henderson, Ark., to John Francis and Mandana "Mandaney" Sinor Cox. On April 5, 1950, he was married at Centerville, Calif., to Helen Mae Patrick, who preceded him in death on April 7, 2010. Mr. Cox was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy. Before his retirement, he had been a welder at Southwest Truck Body and was a farmer in the Pomona area. Mr. Cox enjoyed hunting, gardening and farming. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by nine children, Linda Hedrick of McKittrick, Calif., Gary Howard, wife, Linda, of La Barge, Wyo., Linda Killion, husband, David, of St. Louis, Mo., Theresa Douglas, husband, William, of Pomona, Mo., Janice Hughston of Pomona, Mo., Michael Cox and special friend, Debbie, of Flippin, Ark., Mark Cox, wife, Melinda, of Caulfield, Mo., Connie Morrison of West Plains, Mo., and Lesa Kerley, husband, Brent, Owatonna, Minn.; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Cox of Naylor, Mo., and Burley Cox of Fairdealing, Mo.; one half brother, Johnny Cox of Tiff City, Mo.; three half sisters, Frances Haney of Delaplaine, Ark., Dorothy Huckabee and Lilly Cato, both of Doniphan, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. His parents; wife; one granddaughter, Talena Hughston; two sisters; three brothers; and one half sister precede him in death. Burial was at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice Compassus and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Helen Mae (Patrick) Cox, 77, Pomona,Missouri,will be at 10 am,Saturday April 10, 2010 in the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs. Cox's funeral sevice was changed due to unforeseen circumstances. Mrs.Cox died 2:48 am, Wednesday ,April 7,2010 at her home. She was born September 23, 1932 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to George Wesley and Myrtle Iva Wood Patrick. On April 5, 1950, she was married to Riley E. Cox. Before her retirement Mrs. Cox was employed at Eaton Corporation. She was an avid gardner and was active in the farmer's market. Mrs.Cox was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Riley Cox, of the family home; seven children, Linda Killion, husband David, St. Louis, Missouri, Theresa Douglas, and husband Willam, Pomona, Missouri, Janice Hughston, Pomona, Missouri, Micheal Cox, Flippin, Arkansas, Mark Cox, wife Melinda, Caulfield, Missouri, Connie Morrison, West Plains, Missouri, and Lesa Kerley, husband Brent, Owatonna, Minnesota; two step-children, Gary and Linda; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Margie Patrick and Helen Patrick; and several nieces and nephews including Henry Crevistan, that she helped raise. Her partens, one granddaughter, Talena Hughston, two brothers, Jack Patrick and four sisters Wanda Patrick, Joyce Leasley, Ruth Farnsworth and Hazel Gallaher, precede her in death. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:oo pm, Friday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
