Laura Mae Cox, age 78, of Springfield, died November 10, 2005, in Maranatha Village. She was born February 2, 1927, in Springfield, to John and Mae Shelburn, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Lee Cox; and three daughters, Brenda Young and her husband, LeRoy of Buffalo, Missouri, Linda Bradley and her husband, Terry of Chapin, Illinois, and Sherry Keonig and her husband, Lewis of the state of Oregon; one son, David Cox and his wife, Tammy of Willow Springs, Missouri. Also surviving are are her brother, Jerry Shelburn and his wife, Helen; a sister, Mary Winkler; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday evening, November 14, 2005, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Willow Springs City Cemetery in Willow Springs, Missouri.
