Mrs. Blanche Cox of Willow Springs, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, while at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs. Born on Nov. 24, 1912, in Willow Springs to Frank and Emma (Roberts) Luttrell, she was 99 years old.
On Feb. 18, 1933, she married Frank R. Cox in Willow Springs. To this union, two children were born.
Mrs. Cox worked for over twenty years at the Ben Franklin 5 & 10 Store in Willow Springs, where she made many friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank R. Cox; three brothers; three sisters; and her son-in-law, James Gregory.
Mrs. Cox is survived by her two children, Carolyn Gregory of Willow Springs; and Gary Cox and his wife Kerry of Nixa, Missouri; six grandsons, Donald Gregory and his wife Beverly; Gerald Gregory and his wife Brenda; Brad Gregory and his wife Becky; Brian Gregory and his wife Darla; Barry Cox; Darryl Cox and his wife Christy; nineteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; one niece, Helen Gregory of Wilow Springs; two nephews, Kenneth Lovan of California; and Paul Luttrell of Texas.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Willow Funeral Home.
Burial will follow Wednesday's service at the Willow Springs City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home.
