Alton Frazier, 65, of Cordova, Tenn., died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Cordova Nursing Center.
Born December 4, 1940, in New Albany, Miss., he was the son of the late Joe Frazier and Clara Spears Frazier. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kim Tarpley, and one brother, Sammy Frazier.
He was a mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Frazier leaves one daughter, Donna Jarrett, of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons: Mark Frazier and Shawn Frazier, both of Horn Lake, Miss.; four brothers: John Frazier of Mountain Home, Ark., Boyce Frazier of Brownsville, Tenn., and Billy Frazier of Steele; two sisters: Betty Henley of Holland and Linda Perez of Brownsville; and ten grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mr. Frazier were held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery with Rev. Mollie Riley officiating.
Powell Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of services.
