Funeral services were held Sunday, August 1, 1982, at 2:00 p.m., at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele for Carl Allen James, 59.
Mr. James was born April 20, 1923, at Denton and died July 30, 1982 in the Veterans Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He leaves six children: Barbara Sue, Patsy Gale, Richard Allen, Donnie, David and Danny; his mother, Mrs. Tommie James; and one brother, Curmel James.
Pallbearers were Glenn Griffin, Bynum Hester, Cotton Howe, Mickey Howe, Verlon Green, and Eugene Kellems, Sr.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge.
