Thomas Gordon Bailey was born June 2, 1910 at Belmont, Miss., and died December 11, 1979 at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville.

A retired farmer, Mr. Bailey was 69.

Services were held at German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, December 1, at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. James F. McCrary. Mrs. Bethel Lester was the organist.

Mr. Bailey leaves three daughters: Mrs. Corine Deaton of Caruthersville; Mrs. Ruby Thompson of South Haven, Mich.; and Mrs. Betty Renfro of Steele. He leaves three sons: William A. Bailey of Holland; Ray Bailey of Sandwich, Ill., and Jimmie Lester Bailey of Germany. Twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Pallbearers were Bert Poteet, Hoye D. Raines, Howard Burns, Johnnie Carter, Clell Waldrop, and Anthony Norrid.
Burial was in Mount Zion cemetery, German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
