Graveside services for Glenda Ann Brotherton, 58, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2013, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Glenda departed peacefully to her eternal rest on May 14, 2013, at her home. She was born June 24, 1954, at West Plains, Missouri, to Paul Benjamin Brotherton and Ruby Mae Irvin Brotherton. She graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1972. In her brief amount of time, Glenda truly made her mark on the world. The friends she made were for a lifetime, and her family was her pride and joy. She was a Christian.
She is survived by three children, Jeremy Harrison, wife, Brandi, Vanessa Stirewalt, husband Bert, and Ashley Harrison; ten grandchildren, Colten, Cainen and Elizabeth Harrison, Alexis, Courtney, Emily and Robby Stirewalt, Andrew Steiner, Raven and Hayden Cook; two loving sisters, Linda Thompson, husband, Allen and Brenda Ford, partner, Keith Grey; many cousins, nieces and very special lifetime friends, Debbie Jorgensen, Susan Ray, Tim Counts and Chris Skaggs.
Her parents, aunts and uncles, Charles and Ina Brotherton, Bill Irvin and Doris Irvin McCoy, precede her in death. Her life partner Randy Hargrove and beloved friends, Carol Barton and Cindy Skaggs were waiting to greet her at the gates of heaven.
Glenda never said goodbye to her friends and family. Her last words were always "I love you."
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
