Mrs. Tommie Louise Green, 43, of Cottonwood died at the Blytheville Air Force Hospital Sunday only a short time after she became ill while visiting her son, Sgt. Thomas Stewart who is stationed there.
Mrs. Green, wife of Alf C. Green, had lived at Cottonwood for some time but was a native of Dyersburg.
Funeral service was held at the Methodist Church in Cottonwood Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. Floyd Brower officiated and interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are her husband, Alf C. Green, and three sons--William and Edward Green of Cottonwood; Sgt. Stewart of Blytheville; six daughters, Mrs. Ruby King, Farmington; Mrs. Helen Chosdelone, Holyolha, Miss.; Mrs. Evelyn Hotz, Madgie, Brenda and Betty Green of Cottonwood; one brother, Finis Hall, Dyersburg; and one sister, Mrs. Ruby Glowner, Cottonwood; and five grandchildren.
