Mrs. Mabel Barnes Green, 75, of St. Clair Shores, Mich., died Friday, November 4, 1994, at St. Joseph Hospital in Detroit, Mich.
Born in Steele, Mo. on August 11, 1919 she was a daughter of the late Minnie and Willie Barnes of the Number Eight Community.
Her husband, David Green, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Green leaves a daughter, Pamela Howell; A son, Michael Green; One sister, Hazel Barnes Caldwell, of Memphis, Tenn.; and A brother, W.M. Barnes, of Steele.
Funeral services for Mrs. Green were held Tuesday, November 8, 1994, at Lake Shore Presbyterian Church in St. Clair Shores, Pastor Thomas Duncan officiated.
Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 1994 at the Number Eight Cemetery.
