Funeral services were conducted Monday for Luther C. Fowler, 64, who died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Crawford, of Cooter, from chronic myocarditis. Burial was made in the No. 8 cemetery.
Luther Cromwell Fowler was born August 14, 1867 in Hardin County, Tenn., near Savannah. He was united in marriage in 1888 to Lucy Haggard, who preceded him in death. To this union were born four children, one of whom still lives, Mrs. W.O. Alexander.
In the year 1902 he was united in marriage to Eva Legget. To this union were born six children, one of whom died in infancy. Those living are Mrs. Frank Crawford, L.C. Fowler, Jr., Milbry Fowler, Virginia Fowler and Margaret Fowler. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. B.W. Walker, of Etowahm, Ark.
Mr. Fowler died June 5, 1932, at the age of 64 years, 9 months and 22 days at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Crawford.
