Junior Lee Kelley, 70, of Braggadocio, Mo., died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born Sunday, August 21, 1932, in Reagan, Tenn., he was the son of the late James Levi Kelley and Nella Staggs Kelley. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Della Lee Kelley; and one son, David Eugene Kelley.

He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Kelley leaves one daughter, Mary "Sissy" Suzanna King, of Koshkonong, Mo.; five sons: Author Ray Kelley and Anthony Joe Kelley of Koshkonong, Clarence Levie Kelley of Granite City, Ill., Charles Dale Kelley of Gosnell, Ark., and Randy Wayne Kelley of Stacy, Minn.; five brothers: Henry (Cotton) Kelley of Braggadocio, J.R. Kelley of Steele, Mo., Tommy Kelley of Alexandria, La., Melvin Kelley of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Chester Kelley of Caruthersville, Mo.; five sisters: Sue Austin of Sardis, Tenn., Billie Jo Casteel, and Patricia Wilcox of Braggadocio, Mary Rodgers of Memphis, and Bobbie Jean (Barbara) Clay of Pascola, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Kelley were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Rev. David Boyd officiating.

Burial was at the Mount Zion Cemetery near Steele with Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home of Steele in charge.

Pallbearers were Martin Kelley, Junior Kelley, Chris Kelley, Bill Pearson, Jimmy Turpin, and Glen Cannon.
