Mrs. Flora May Walker, 92, of Jefferson City, formerly of the Number Eight community, died Dec. 20, 1993 at Memorial Community Hospital in Jefferson City. Born May 24, 1901, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Frank Morgan. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a retired sales clerk and the widow of Ebb Walker.
She is survived by a son, Murrell Walker of Lake Village, Ark.; A daughter, Florine Ruppelt of Jefferson City; Seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Thelbert M. Walker.
Services were Dec. 22 at Bradshaw's German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel in Steele, the Rev. Dennis West officiating, with burial in Mitchell Number Eight Cemetery.
