Funeral service for Carl Eugene Barnard was held June 3, 1980 at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele, Rev. Ira Wilkins and Rev. Fred Pritchett officiated.
Mr. Barnard was born September 15, 1940 in Denton and died June 1, 1980 at the age of 39.
He leaves his wife, Jo Ann Barnard of the home; one daughter, Tenah Darlene Barnard, of the home; one son, Carl Eugene Barnard, Jr., of the home; his father and mother, Walter and Lear Barnard of Denton; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Howell of Granite City, Ill., and Charlotte Lane of Hazelwood, Mo.; three brothers, Clay Barnard of Lemay, Mo., Neal Barnard of Florissant, Mo., and Jadie Barnard of Steele, and his grandfather, Walter Key, of Denton.
Pallbearers were Rom Whistle, Gary Sanders, Mike Graham, David E. Kelley, Cecil Barnes, and David Teeter.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with arrangements b the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele.
