Lois Sloan Brown, 74 Norfolk, VA, Died at 5 a.m. Sunday in Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, Va. She was born Sept. 9, 1908, in Jonesboro, AR the daughter of the late James and Maude Miller Sloan.
She received her education in the schools of Jonesboro, AR she was married in Jonesboro to Fred H. Brown who preceded her in death. Mrs. Brown had worked in the civil service for several years. She had of the Baptist faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of West Plains for many years.
Survivors include one son Fred H. Brown of Norfolk, VA, two half brothers, Cecil Sloan, West Plains, and Oscar Sloan, Thayer. One half sister Maude Bell Wilson, West Plains and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three half brothers and three half sisters.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson Drago Funeral Home, West Plains MO.
