Miles Alexander Holly, a retired shoe cobbler, died September 3, 1974, at City Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 67. The son of the late P.H. and Nora Hutchins Holly, he was born August 12, 1907 at Cooter.
Mr. Holly received his training at the School for The Deaf at Fulton, Missouri.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele with the Rev. V. Carl Hickman officiating.
Mr. Holly leaves two brothers, Walter Holly and Robert Holly, of Steele; two sisters, Viola Schrader, and Helen Maclin, Steele.
Interment was in the Holly Cemetery at Steele with the John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
